Trips

WWVA students have a variety of trip choices each year. We have created a rotation schedule to decrease costs for parents and students. We don't want you to pay for several large trips in a year.

Some trips happen every year, but the cost of those trips is minimal.

The rotation schedule is for trips that have a significant cost.

Yearly Trips

BIBLE CAMP

The Oregon Conference sponsors Bible Camp, an exciting yearly event in September. Students spend four exciting days at the Washington Family Ranch in Antelope, Oregon. They enjoy the ranch's various activities, amazing music, and captivating speakers. Students come back feeling inspired and enlightened by God's love and message.

BACKPACKING

Backpacking is another yearly trip that happens in mid-September. Students go off the grid and enjoy God's creation for three days backpacking in the Wallowa Mountains.

SENIOR SURVIVAL
While many of our students are off backpacking in the Wallowas, our Seniors are surviving for five days at our WWVA Lodge property, located outside Weston, OR, in the Blue Mountains. They are bonding with their class and learning to navigate challenges, such as building their shelters to sleep in, cooking their meals, and working as a team. The Seniors return ready to face their last year of high school together as a group and with God.

SENIOR TRIP
This is the last trip all the seniors will take together. We plan this trip in late April to early May, right before the big push of semester exams and graduation. Each year, the destination is different depending on the class funds and where the class chooses as a group.
