The War of the Worlds will be streamed at 7:00pm on Saturday, March 13th. A Virtual Whodunnit will be streamed at 2:00pm on Sunday, March 14th followed by a short Zoom meet and greet with the cast and crew. Both streams can be accessed above.

The War of the Worlds is a stage adaptation of an episode of an American radio drama series directed and narrated by actor and future filmmaker Orson Welles as an adaptation of H. G. Wells’s novel The War of the Worlds (1898). It was performed and broadcast live as a Halloween episode at 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 1938, over the Columbia Broadcasting System radio network. The episode became famous for allegedly causing panic among its listening audience.

“A Virtual Whodunnit” A family business meeting over Zoom ends in crime. As a hard boiled investigator interviews each family member, the list of suspects just keeps growing. It’s a hilarious Covid-era noir play and a gentle satire on the world of high-tech. Audience members will participate in a vote. After the show, there will be an optional short Zoom meet and greet with the cast and crew.

The two plays are directed by English and Drama teacher, Cliff Dolph.
